
Initially the product was specialized to the sale of houses through a more traditional method, but with an added "Make offer" feature, but after launch and much discussion with the users, the company decided to shift the product towards an auction platform to provide more financial transparency between the sellers and buyers.

Changing focus from the watch and inputing a price to viewing the auction and laying a default price rose property interaction drastically. Moreover, the finances were more transparent between the buyer and seller.


Conclusion
Transitioning from a real-estate product to an auction product provided more transparency financially to both the buyer and seller. This also incentivized sellers to list their properties cause they would get the best deal for their properties hence signing up more sellers. In return, there are more real-estate on the page and more buyers to bid.
